What We Are Looking For

Piedmont Virtual Solutions provides contracting work you can do at home!

We are hiring Independent Contractors to take inbound customer service and/or sales calls remotely. As an Independent Contractor you are responsible for any cost associated with certification and any equipment needed to service. All expenses are tax deductible.

Inbound Call Center Job Description:
Answer incoming calls from customers to take orders, answer inquiries and questions, handle complaints, and problems and provide information.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
* answer calls and respond to emails
* answer customer inquiries both telephonically and by email
* research required information using available resources
* manage and resolve customer complaints
* provide customers with product and service information
* enter new customer information into system
* update existing customer information
* process orders, forms, and applications
* identify and escalate priority issues
* route call to appropriate resource
* follow up customer call when necessary
* document all call information according to standard operating procedures (when necessary)
Education and Experience
* high school diploma or equivalent
* proficient in relevant computer application
* required language proficiency
* knowledge of customer service principles and practices
* some experience in a call center or customer service environment is helpful
* good data entry and typing skills
Key Competencies
* verbal and written communication skills (speak clearly)
* listening skills
* problem analysis and problem solving
* able to work with little to no supervision
* able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week (some weekend and holiday hours may be required)
